I've just be ravaged by a major bug in one of the few games I was actually doing well in.
Ratface Flanagan threw a grenade at Private Anderson in game 193 turn 6 or 7. The grenade was primed for 0 turns and should have killed Anderson as well as sacrificing the unfortunate Dick Turvey who had failed to kill Anderson at close range with his lasergun. The grenade appeared to hit Anderson but then failed to detonate on ending turn with some kind of error message which unfortunately I failed to take notice of.
On coming back to 'My Games' I was told to take my turn again on which finding out the grenade had magically reappeared in Ratface Flanagans hand who had spent all of his action points running clear. The grenade successfully detonated on ending turn this time, killing Ratface instead of Anderson and Dick Turvey.
It's only a practice game, so not the end of the world, but is it possible for you to go back and check what went wrong so that it doesn't happen again.
Damn, sorry about that. I thought this bug had gone away as there's been no mention of it for weeks. That's the big problem with it - it happens incredibly rarely and is almost impossible to recreate. I'll have another look into it, and at least add some "safety" code that check whether a problem is about to occur and warn the user accordingly.

You'll be glad to hear that I've finally pinned this bug down and fixed it - it was when the grenade was thrown against the wall. I've just released a new version of the client with the fix.
