I'm currently being plagued by yet another grenade bug, this time in our 4-player Escape game. Private Smales is currently trying to throw a grenade at 2 of Victor's (I think it's Victor) guys. I primed the grenade for 0 turns and got a program failed error, restart client message.
On restarting the client I had been charged the 10 action points for priming the grenade, yet it was still unprimed. I tried a second time and exactly the same thing happened again, costing me another 10 action points.
Just to confirm, the rules with priming grenades are the same as in the original Laser Squad, right? 0 = explodes end of turn this turn 1 = explodes end of opponents turn 2 = explodes end of my second turn 3 = explodes end of opponents second turn etc.
What can I say - I'm really sorry (again). I thought I'd tested it with all the versions of the client, but something must have slipped through. It was a good move by you to not end your turn, as I've been able to restore that unit's AP's, so hopefully it's not put you at any disadvantage. In the new version I've also added something similar to the priming rules, which you have correct BTW.

Damn. I hate to tell you this but I've just encountered another grenade error with Private Smales in our 4-player escape game again using the latest 1.11 client. This time I successfully primed the grenade, set it to throw 7 squares, but on throwing it got an error saying no map square. Restart Client.???
I've just "unprimed" the grenade. I'm guessing the problem was caused by dodgy data left over from the original bug. It should be okay now - have another go and let me know how that works.

Ok, but now I don't have enough action points, only 12 remaining. I'm still missing the action points from when I originally primed the grenade and threw from it when it went wrong. Also, after the grenade disappeared and reappeared in my inventory it is now 'unequipped', so I need a further 15 action points to be able to change weapon and put it back in my hand. Sorry.
AP's re-added. Fingers crossed that everything back to normal! :)

Unfortunately not. It primed ok, but on throwing (I chose 8 squares this time) it looked like it hit Crimson Pluck (unit 3) but then gave me the same error message "ERROR! Grenade 19 has no map square! PLEASE RESTART THE CLIENT"
On restarting I'm back in the same position of having an unequipped, I'm guessing still primed grenade in my inventory and not enough action points (12) to do anything with it.
Ahem, I humbly submit that I've found (and fixed) another "throwing" bug! I'm amazed that these haven't become an issue until now. Probably nobody has thrown a grenade directly at another unit before, which is more likely and is the cause of this particular problem.
Anyway, client 1.12 is ready for download. As part of the testing I've also taken the liberty of throwing that grenade again for you to check it works okay. Let me know if your AP's now add up and if everything seems to be okay now. And thanks for hanging in there!

I'm amazed too! I was starting to think I was cursed or something! lol
Anyway, I wounded both of the guys with gun fire to make sure they died before ending turn. On ending there seemed to be two explosions, somehow I think 2 grenades might have went off. Either way I don't think it would have made any difference, in the end and think both targets would be well and truly dead regardless.
Can I ask you to download an even newer version, namely 1.13. I just spotted some left-over debugging code in 1.12, so I've done another release. I'd hate for you to get caught out by any more bugs!
