Just a quick thank you to the people who are helping to support this game! I think there may have been a chance I would have closed SF due to the time and cost, but knowing that people are still enjoying the game enough to support it keeps me going. :)
Many thanks Igoryan, Xeno and Rabid for your contribution! (I wasn't sure if people wanted to remain anon as some previous early contributors did, but I can't see why since you're doing everyone a good service). Thanks to you, Stellar Forces will be able to keep going as long as there are players to play it (and a regular backup)!
Let me thank anyone here who actively plays the game and from time to time when I pop up again there is always discussion about the game and the maps. It makes me feel good. I have not played actively during the last year, but I come back from time to time I promise. I like this game and I like Steve for keeping the game up and running. I am busy with another game but that is not like stellar forces. Here I always feel like coming home. This is rare.
And many thanks to Forces of Nature for being a patreon! I've decided to forgive FoN for all the grenades he keeps posting my way in Small Colony games! ;)
Many thanks to the latest Patreon pledgers! Patreon doesn't divulge much information about who has actually pledged (just a name) and I have to do some detective work to try and match it to actual players. On this occasion I can't seem to find a match, so whoever has pledged, many thanks for your generosity, and feel free to reveal yourself!
The real thanks goes to you Steve, for not only recreating one of the best games of all time (with so much more on top). But for bringing people like us together and maintaining it for so long. A couple of pounds is nothing in comparison to the love you've given this.
I often forget about the SF FB page myself, I must update it some time. As for an FB version of the game, I like the idea of becoming a millionaire, but apart from that it looks like a lot of work for not much. I don't think FB users have the patience to play something slow-paced like this.
Another big thanks to all the Patrons, both old and new ones, who keep this game going. Without you it would probably have died off a long time ago, but knowing that people enjoy playing it so much keeps it going and keeps me wanting to keep it going. Here's to the next 9 years!
