• Coming up from the South West, up Cornwall,Devon and Somerset, up the Bristol channel hitting Gloucestershire and South Wales. I live in Gloucester. Suppose to hit 3am. Anyone from my neck of the woods?

• Still very windy but nothing. My mum got torches and batteries out, until I told her the torch I bought her just needs recharging. But what if the electricity goes. Doh. Mum's right. Survival 101.

• Been a complete wash out. Pun intended. Suppose to be this great storm but just blustery wind and rain. Of course I didn't want it but we all braced ourselves for it. Anti-climax. Something my nan used to say.

• Ah I got it all in Bucks. My roof lost end ridge tile and some slates. Neighbour got two 6 foot fences ripped out. All around my town lots of minor damage. Block of flats got a whole roof zinc edging plucked away, expensive repair.

• The wind flipped one of the panes of glass on our outside table. Everything was fine until that happened. Took ages to clear up the shattered glass.

• Still very windy here. But fingers crossed, been okay really. Got some water come in from the porch roof, need to get up and check that when it all dies down. A few broken branches and upturned bins,flower pots, etc. no different to any occasional storm thankfully.
