Two questions to check: Rank points should increase units skills? Should survivors get 3 rank points in case of winning? Because my surviving units has same level as before game.
Q1. I think unit skills/stats should increase by 1 per every Promotion. I'm not sure if Steve has actually implemented this part yet? Each promotion requires a set amount of rank points. There is a table of rank points required for each promotion which I expect Steve will publish once the details have been finalized.
Q2. Yes, survivors of the winning team should have received at least 3 rank points each. I think the method we decided on was the winner shares a total of 24 rank points (3 points per unit) between all of his surviving units.
Myself and Steve have just Mutually Conceded (drawn) a campaign game and none our units gained points either - so I suspect Steve is still working on this.
Steve, how do the rank points gained compare between losing and drawing a game? I don't think players drawing a game should be rewarded any more than players losing - that way it will encourage players to go for the victory instead of a lot of boring draws happening all of the time.
I propose a method of surviving units on a drawing or losing team only gain a flat rate of 1 rank point each (just enough to promote Recruits to Privates).
Sorry. I see what you mean now. For some reason there are no selectable missions in the campaign right now. I suspect this is because Steve is still working on some of the issues I just spoke about.
It was technically because Steve had left a bug in the program. Fixed now. :) I'll have a look at the other issues now.

Q1 - You're right, I've not implemented this yet. Once the points "algorythms" are sorted I'll do this.
Q2 - Again yes, but I didn't expect anyone to finish a campaign mission before me and Deadlime! I'll add the missing rank points manually.
As for our draw Deadlime, I thought that it's better that players not getting any rank points for a mutual draw, to stop players just mutually conceeding straight away to get a point. What do you think? I agree with your last point though.

I doubt any players would agree to mutually concede straight away for just 1 measley point when there is a massive 24 points up for grabs for winning and 3 bonus points per kill.
I think a 1 point per unit flat rate for surviving units on losing/drawing sides is a nice token gesture for their efforts. Also this way it automatically promotes all Recruits to Private after 1 mission whatever the outcome, which in turn will encourage players to try to hang onto their surviving units instead of using Recruit after Recruit as an endless supply of instantly replacable cannon fodder. If you get my meaning?
Yes, but to a maximum of the unit's current rank points. This is to stop units getting to high too soon, but to always give a player a reason to try and win the mission.

Not sure of what you mean with "to a maximum of the unit's current rank points". is it 3 point for every winning survivor?

It's a minimum of 3 points for every survivor, but a maximum of the unit's current rank points. So if any of your units were already on 6 points, they would have got another 6.

This is all still in development, so any suggestions are more than welcome.

Actually, I've gone off this idea; I think I'll change it to just a straight 3 points. Otherwise there is an incentive for a player to kill off their own weak unit to give another unit more points (even with the -3 deduction for killing your own units).

Just an idea, but how about keeping the flat rate points instead of the share, but bumping it up from 3 points to 5 points for a win? Obviously we might have to adjust the Promotion rank table accrodingly.
