I've been trying to find a good example in one of my games but haven't had it pop up lately, but I'd like for there to be some better way to track enemy units. Either a graduated color trail or some other way so it's possible to tell from looking at the map which way an enemy unit went. I don't expect to be able to track a unit once it goes out of view, but I would expect that my unit could at least tell me if it exited stage left or stage right. Does that make sense?
I was thinking the same, can be graduated colors or maybe dots can be numbered from 1 to X. Maybe different colors can be used when two enemies walk same zone.
That would work for me. I think it shows it to some degree now, in that if a unit goes from point A to point B you can see the trail of "spotting" circles. But I've run into a couple of situations where it's not clear if someone popped out and then doubled back once they saw my unit, or kept on going.
After a few false starts, the "arrows" feature has now been implemented. Hopefully that should solve the problem of knowing which direction an enemy unit is moving in.
