Game 46892: Cpt Fishmonger, EvilDick, Rost310, robsraiders in 'Capture the F.L.A.G. 4-Player CC-Only'
You are here: Stellar Forces > Your Games > Game 46892: Cpt Fishmonger, EvilDick, Rost310, robsraiders in 'Capture the F.L.A.G. 4-Player CC-Only'
- I'm confused. Twice now I have moved players adjacent to robsraiders units and they've been killed. As this is a close combat map, what is it that's killing my units?
- Correction: Rost's units
- Steve has created a bloody great game, that we all adore, but is has flaws and bugs that we once never noticed but now we start to see every time. I get frustrated with it. Robsraiders goes further and snides against it. A bit of respect and gratitude wouldn't go amiss. It has to be one of the best, no the best online game I have ever played, but it drives me insane sometimes.

- A flawed masterpiece.

- Sorry Capt, don't mean to distract your issue here.

- Bump for Capt, as I might have inadvertently distracted from the issue he raised.

- Cpt: Does the game log say anything? Once the game is over, the playback should, at least.
Xeno: Cheers. :)
- I do not see any problems in this battle, except for EvilDick suicide

- No worries Xeno
Hi Steve I see in the log the two units (I think #2 and #3) were killed in close combat even though it was my turn.
I've just had a thought. If an enemy unit is wielding a knife/sword can they retaliate passively (like overwatch mode with guns)?
- I know this sounds like sour grapes I'm just genuinely curious.
Plus it's one of my favourite maps.
- "If an enemy unit is wielding a knife/sword can they retaliate passively (like overwatch mode with guns)?" Yes. So it really is.

- I arranged my soldiers to make it work. I'm suprised you didn't know that

- Just to confirm what Rost says, yes. If one of your units walks up to an enemy unit, and that unit can see yours and has enough APs, they will attack first.
- Gotcha thanks chaps I wasn't aware of that.
I'll approach that map differently in future.
